Badbury Clump

Community Built Trails

About the Site

Badbury Clump is owned by the National Trust as part of The Buscot and Coleshill Estate. OX Trails work in collaboration with the National Trust to develop and maintain the mountain bike trail network.

As formal National Trust volunteers, OX Trails run routine trail maintenance events, from dig days in the winter to vegetation clearing in the summer. If you would like to join our trail maintenance days, check out our Events page for the latests events.

The Badbury Clump bike trails have been built and maintained by local riders for over 20 years. We feel very proud to carry on the legacy of one of the best mountain biking locations in Oxfordshire.

Badbury Clump bike trails remain free to ride, with only the cost of parking to be paid.

If you’re new to the trails, expect to ride a feature packed set of trails full of berms, jumps and drops. Ensure to Pre-ride, Re-ride then Free-ride.

Location

Badbury Clump is located just outside Faringdon, accessed from A420 traveling from either Oxford or Swindon direction.

Trail Updates

Red Kite and Whyburd’s

This winter Red Kite and Whyburd’s have remained closed whilst we overhaul the trails and dig new features. We’ve been pushing hard since November and aim to have them fully open for the summer. See our progress below:
