Who we are

Established in September 2024 as Oxfordshire Trail Association, OX Trails mission is to develop and maintain off-road cycling trails across the county of Oxfordshire, ensuring a sustainable network of trails and tracks for all abilities.

Our primary objectives are:

  • Working in partnership with councils and landowners to identify opportunities to develop new and established trails and tracks.

  • Working in partnership with local riders and communities to ensure trails and tracks are fit for purpose, meeting the needs of all abilities and off-road cycling disciplines.

  • Raising funds to support the development and maintenance of off-road cycling trails, pump tracks, BMX tracks and respective facilities.

  • Coordinating development, care and maintenance of trails and tracks across Oxfordshire.

Our long-term goals are:

  • Providing spaces for all ages and abilities to train and develop their riding skills, encouraging active lifestyles in benefit of health and wellbeing.

  • Promote diversity in cycling.

  • Positive promotion of off-road cycling to wider communities to enhance the harmony between cyclists and other trail and park users.

  • Encourage environmental and socially responsible off-road cycling through the promotion of an off-road cycling code of conduct.
